What stays after the path ends.
A map of browser storage, separate from the star maze itself.
A marker for permission
The necessary record tells Noreluxa whether the settings banner has been answered. It is recognised for up to one year when the page loads. It does not mark where you walked in the maze.
A marker for display comfort
With optional permission, a second key stores the reduced-motion preference. Without that permission, the preference is not retained for later visits. The decision enables no advertising or analytics service.
No stored star route
The explorer, walls, three stars and step count remain in the active page. Back to start changes that local state; it does not read a saved account. Reloading replaces the current route.
Choose another path for settings
Open preferences below to change the decision or use Forget saved choices to remove the known keys. Browser removal rules can also clear them. The one-year check runs when the site is visited, not as an automatic background cleanup task.
